In a significant humanitarian effort, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship has been loaded with over 10 million meals destined for the people of Gaza. This initiative, completed at Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa Port, highlights the UAE’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian support amidst critical times.
Weighing in at a staggering 7,249 tonnes, these meals are a part of a collaboration with Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people. The ship is expected to set sail for El Arish Port in Egypt, with the arrival scheduled for early January 2026. Once it reaches its destination, the vital food aid will be distributed within the Gaza Strip.
This operation is part of a larger initiative launched by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), which underscores the importance of community involvement. In just a short span, over 20,000 volunteers stepped up to assist, showcasing a remarkable spirit of solidarity among individuals eager to make a difference.
