As of January 2, 2026, Dubai Courts will implement new regulations regarding the fees for Private Notary Public services, a move that promises to streamline and clarify the process for everyone involved. His Excellency Prof. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, the Director-General of Dubai Courts, highlighted that this decision is part of the broader commitment to enhancing judicial services in the region. It ensures that the rights of all service recipients are upheld while making it easier to navigate legal procedures.
The fee structure includes AED 100 for electronic registration of identities in the Dubai Courts system, another AED 100 per signature on the document, and AED 1,000 for any notary public who must travel outside their office to complete transactions. This organized approach allows for better efficiency in processing and delivers a smoother experience for clients.
Mohammed Ahmad Al Obaidli, the Executive Director of the Case Management Sector, also emphasized that these changes would enhance the quality of service provided by Private Notary Public offices. Because notaries will now adhere to an approved fee schedule, it ensures everyone knows what to expect, effectively improving customer satisfaction across the board.
